What is in your Pro Forma?
A Pro forma is essentially a profit and loss statement for a business. It lists all the revenue sources and expense items. It also takes into account federal, state and local taxes to produce a total financial picture of the business.
Why do I need one?
Typically, a Pro Forma is required for several purposes: 1) to secure financing, 2) to accompany a cannabis license application (perhaps as part of a required Business Plan), and 3) to demonstrate to a municipality that your start-up has a reasonably good chance of success. It also demonstrates that you have a solid handle on your business operations – especially how you expect to make money and that you understand all the expenses that are involved.
How much does the Pro Forma cost?
As a stand-alone deliverable, our professional service fee to develop your Pro Forma is $2,500. An initial payment is required, with the remainder due at the completion of the project.
What types of cannabis businesses can you handle?
We have developed Pro Formas for cannabis cultivation, manufacturing, retail and delivery businesses. Pro Formas for other types of cannabis businesses are available upon request.
How does this work?
Once we receive your signed agreement, we send you a spreadsheet to complete. The purpose of the spreadsheet is to allow you to record information about how you intend to run your business – the number of employees, expenses that you have identified, etc. Once it is returned, we develop a draft for your review, then make any changes that are necessary.
What if I cannot answer all the questions?
It is not expected that you be able to answer all the questions. Clients merely fill in what they can. In many cases, we can fill in missing data with industry statistics, best practices, etc.
How long does this take?
Our work only takes a few days once we receive your information. A draft will be prepared and sent to you for review. We can also schedule a call to discuss the Pro Forma and answer any questions you may have.

Yes - we have developed cannabis Business Plans for cultivation, manufacturing, retail and delivery companies. Other types of cannabis Business Plans are available upon request. Our Business Plans also include a Pro Forma.
What other professional services do you provide?
We provide a full range of cannabis-related application services. For example, for New Jersey we develop Conditional License Scored Measures, Annual Scored Measures and Conditional Conversion Scored Measures, SOPs, etc. Please complete this contact form for a free initial consultation to discuss your needs.
